Triage Agent

A business was starting every day the same way: scrolling an inbox to work out what actually mattered. We built an agent that does that sorting before anyone opens their email.

A robot sorting envelopes into neat stacks on a concrete counter, an orange mug beside them.

The problem

The inbox was the first job of the day, before any real work started. Every message, from a genuine lead to a newsletter, landed in the same list, and someone had to read through all of it to find the handful of things that actually needed a decision or a reply.

Nothing in the inbox told you what was urgent versus what could wait. Actionable requests sat next to noise with no separation, so the same scroll happened every morning, and easy to miss items got missed simply because they weren't at the top.

There was no clear record of what needed doing or who was meant to do it. Tasks lived inside individual emails instead of a list anyone could work from, so follow-through depended on someone remembering to go back and check.

What we built

  1. 01

An agent that reads the inbox each morning and classifies every message, separating what needs action from what doesn't.

  2. 02

A step that turns actionable messages into a prioritised task list, so what matters most is already at the top.

  3. 03

A daily brief delivered before the workday starts, setting out what needs doing and by whom.

The result

The day starts already sorted. What used to be a scroll through an unsorted inbox is now a prioritised brief, waiting before anyone logs on.
